Updating and refreshing the communal areas of this rental.
Creating a welcoming interior that worked well with the existing kitchen and appealed to the target market. The designs needed to be stylish but hardwearing and practical.
The small multipurpose main communal room works as a living and dining area for seven tenants. This space needed to create a sociable space to accommodate everyone, so a good layout was key. Colour blocking around the mirror and the ceiling add drama and colour to the warm neutral scheme, which warms up this north facing room. The curved features soften the straight lines of the room.
