A bit about me
Hilary Marconetto’s journey into interior design probably began in her early years, as she remembers spending many hours re-designing her childhood home – even if it was just in her head!
She carried this passion for colour and design into her adult life, but it wasn’t until she took a career break to raise her three children that she took her love of design to the next level.
While renovating her Victorian family home from scratch, Hilary was able to really go to town with her own interior visions. Creating a stylish space full of colour and texture for her family, she realised she wanted to do the same for others.
Juggling family life, she successfully completed an Interior Design Diploma at the National Design Academy in 2017. Her home and work has since featured in various blogs and national magazines. In 2019 Hilary was invited to be part of an expert panel at Interior Junction, an Interiors event in Derby. She continues to enjoy adding to Hilary Marconetto Interiors’ ever-growing portfolio.
I adore the interest and personality that old and new belongings inject into a space. I enjoy collecting objects, furniture, accessories and art - old and new - and mixing them together. An ethos that I carry through into my client’s designs. I believe that a home should be filled with things that you love.
“Hilary has an ability to really step inside the minds of her clients and turn the most ambiguous of briefs into something special.”
