Epperstone House
Creating, welcoming, light & airy spaces with a calm aesthetic that marry with the rest of the clients’ period home.
Reconfiguring & designing the family bathroom, to create a spa like feel with natural tones and textures. Creating a larger more open plan shower area with a niche for storage and freestanding bath. The wall hung vanity creates neat storage and also gives the illusion of more space. The various lighting sources, wall lights, pendant light and led, create ambience and interest. The walls and ceiling were colour drenched so the ceiling curves were more subtle. Adding a fabric roman blind adds pattern and softness to the hard surfaces.

We solved the issue of the ‘walk through room’ by making the space as enticing as possible, to draw you back into the seating area to enjoy the TV snug. Using warm tones and curves help to soften the flow of the room. Adding interest with textured walls and oversize artwork, create focal points.
Paint, lighting, artwork and accessories were added to the dining space to define the space and depth.
“Hilary helped us with 3 rooms: a full bathroom refit, lounge and kitchen restyling. Following our consultation, Hilary provided us with designs for all 3 rooms and we didn’t change a thing as she had captured everything we had spoken about wanting first time. Super impressive, supportive, helpful and communicative throughout.”
