Attic Space - Guest Room
The task was to refresh the large tired attic space and give it a calm and airy feel. The space needed to work as a guest bedroom and home office. The space has a nod to the mid-century and scandi and splashes of colour in keeping with the rest of the clients own and house and style. The room layout stayed the same as it worked well, however, to break the space up, either end of the room was painted in the calming blue/green hue, also zoning both the sleep and work areas.
The soft pink bed sits beautifully in front of this and creates a definite sleeping area with a touch of femininity and luxury without being too girly.
The rest of the room and built in cupboards were painted in a restful light grey that bounces around the room.
