What to Expect During an Interior Design Consultation:
• Up to a 2-hour consultation in your home, tailored to you.
• A follow-up email with links, reference images, and all the relevant advice to clarify what we discussed.
• While it doesn’t include a physical design, you’ll gain everything you need to progress confidently with your self-managed decorating or renovation project.
I prepare for the meeting in advance, so I ask that you to share any dilemmas or questions over email beforehand. This ensures we can spend focused time solving your design challenges.
You may just need a fresh pair of interior eyes to review your plans, samples, or layout. Or perhaps you need styling tips or ideas for accessories to complete your room. We helped this client with a full redesign of lots of spaces in their beautiful house including this hallway
They recently made use of one of the Interior Design Consultations, as they felt better equipped to move forward with their their utility/ boot room /WC, but wanted advice before their builders descended. We managed to firm up some great decisions in the time.
- Colours - I suggested rusty red cabinets - an unexpected pop at the end of their downstairs - which also connects with similar toned pops in the their open plan kitchen, something they said hadn’t considered but now love.
-Firmed up the tile choices using samples they had already ordered.
- Layout - the consultation gave us time to work out an awkward space outside their WC, which was encroaching on the entrance - suggesting we reduce the size of the WC and moving the door created a bigger boot room space. They checked this over with their builder, it worked as a great solution.
All in all a successful consultation, the client felt much more confident in their choices afterwards. They’ve done a great job and it connects so well with the rest of the house.
